Way back in the late 1980’s, Sue and Lori worked for a retail computer company and noticed how many parts were being discarded. They both found them interesting and artistic in their own right. Unbeknownst to each other, both partners were collecting these interesting artifacts because they knew they would someday find an artistic outlet for them. It took almost a decade for their vision to come to fruition. One day, in 1996, at a casual lunch at Whole Foods Market in Austin, Texas, Sue and Lori’s dream came to light. They decided to experiment with the parts they had gathered over almost a decade. The result:
